Q: How long does it take to know if the client has received an instant decision?
A: Once you’ve completed the web application’s insurability section, the decision is instant.
Q: Do I have to use the web application right away?
A: No. You can still use paper apps or tele-apps and, depending on the client’s situation, you can use whatever app suits them best. The web app is new, and the paper app and tele-app have been improved, so take some time to get familiar with the changes.
Q: Can any of the web application be completed before meeting with the client?
A: Yes. If you and your operations team already have the required information, the first two sections of the app before the insurability section, Quote and Client Details, can be filled out in advance. Remember to review everything with the client when you meet.
Q: What is an electronic signature?
A: An electronic signature is a binding signature taken on any electronic device. When using a tablet, clients sign the application using their finger or a stylus pen (if you have one). On a laptop or desktop, clients enter a code based on their unique app number and name.
Q: How do I know if the client has received an instant decision?
A: Immediately after you complete the insurability section of the web application, the next page says, “Based on your responses in the application, we’re issuing this policy.”

For automatic updates on your cases, set your notification preferences
Setting your notification preferences enables you and your team to receive automatic notifications about the progress of your applications for paper, web and tele-apps.
This means you no longer have to seek out updates on your cases – no more phone calls. Notifications are automatically delivered right to your email. So you can read them on your computer, tablet or smartphone.
Your preferences let you control the notifications you and your team members receive. For each individual team member, you can select:
Daily activity reports, sent when the status of one of your applications changes
Weekly status reports
Both daily and weekly reports
If you do not set your notification preferences, you will not receive notifications about your paper, web and tele-apps.
If you’ve forgotten your user ID or password, go to RepNet and follow the instructions.
2.Select the Preferences icon, then the Notification preferences tab.
Enter your email information and preferences.
Enter email information and preferences for others you also want to get updates.
To control your pre-filled information and evidence ordering, set your advisor settings
Use your advisor settings to control the standard advisor information that’s pre-filled in your web applications. These settings also control your defaults for automatic ordering of evidence, for web, paper and tele-apps.
How to set your advisor settings
Follow the same steps as above, in step 1 of How to set your notification preferences.
Select the Preferences icon, then the Advisor settings tab.
Follow the instructions on the page.
